Based in the Lake District, Brathay supports over 7,000 young people a year, from primary age right through to their early careers. Pioneers of the outdoor learning movement and marking 80 years in 2026, they combine residential programmes in the national park with deeper youth work in the communities where young people live. Through hands-on learning, mentoring and coaching, plus leadership and employability training, Brathay builds the confidence, resilience and life skills young people need to grow, lead and shape their own futures.
