RIFT Social Enterprise is a community interest company that helps people furthest from work build a future through self-employment, enterprise and practical skills. Founded by former prison and probation professionals on a simple belief, that everyone deserves a genuine opportunity whatever their background, RIFT works with prison leavers, people on probation, the long-term unemployed, housing association tenants and care leavers. Its accredited self-employment workbook, available in print, digitally and through secure prison education platforms, helps people explore business ideas and understand the realities of working for themselves. Alongside mentoring and one-to-one support, RIFT builds the confidence, independence and self-belief people need to move forward.
