Southend United Community Foundation is the official charitable arm of Southend United FC, using the power of football to improve lives across Southend-on-Sea and Essex. Its programmes span inclusive sport, education, health and community cohesion, engaging people of every age and background, with targeted support for young people in care and care leavers. Alternative education pathways through BTECs, enrichment and vocational mentoring support progression and employment readiness, while health initiatives tackle inactivity and isolation. Working with schools, local authorities and public health services, the Foundation turns football passion into confidence, opportunity and belonging.
